Design points

The branching snowflake needs small dark spaces to remain separate from the pale robe edging.

This skin uses Alex arms: the front of each sleeve is only 3 pixels wide. A 3×3 stroke can cover that width, so switch to 1×1 beside cuffs and small trim.

A story to start with

Snowflakes keep landing in the shape of letters. The scholar collects their messages before the thaw, discovering an invitation from beyond the ridge.

Editing ideas

Edit one snowflake branch at a time with 1×1. Preserve dark gaps between the branches, and use a softer off-white for the hem so it does not compete with the chest motif.
