Design points

Exposed upper arms are skin, so they should not be recolored as shirt sleeves.

This skin uses Alex arms: the front of each sleeve is only 3 pixels wide. A 3×3 stroke can cover that width, so switch to 1×1 beside cuffs and small trim.

A story to start with

The runner follows the sun home each evening. Today a neighbor joins for one street, and tomorrow they promise to try two.

Editing ideas

Recolor the shirt with 2×2 while leaving the exposed arms untouched. Add a small dark race-number rectangle on the torso with 1×1, keeping it inside the pale side stripes.
